Accessibility
Statement
Michigan Alliance for families is
committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible
audience.
This website has been developed to
comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which was enacted
to eliminate barriers to information technology, to make available
new opportunities for people with disabilities and to encourage the
development of new technologies to help achieve these goals. This
law requires that all individuals with disabilities have access to
information and data comparable to that which is available to
individuals without disabilities.
MichiganAllianceForFamilies.org is
working to ensure that it meets the
requirements of Section 508, along with the best practices outlined
by the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Accessibility Initiative.
If you prefer a text-only version of
any page on our website, click the words "printer friendly" (or the
printer icon) near the top of each page. When you click "printer
friendly" on any page, you are redirected to a new page which is a
graphics-free, text-only version of the same page.
We have also created a "skip to main
content" feature on every page. Screen readers can skip all
navigation by following the "skip to main content" link in the
header of each page.
If you need an alternative means of
access to any information on our website please contact us. Let us
know the nature of your accessibility problem, the URL or page
address of the requested information, and your contact information.
