    • Facilitated Parent Involvement Online Reporting for Michigan's State Performance Plan Indicator 8. At Wayne State University (WSU) the Center for Urban Studies was asked by the MDE OSE-EIS to conduct a yearly survey of parents of Michigan students receiving special education services. The survey asks parents to give feedback on how well the schools help them be more involved in their child’s special education services. This feedback helps the State track whether or not they are reaching the target they have set for parental involvement.
