need. Available by phone or online, this free service is
provided by the Department of Defense for active-duty,
Guard, and Reserve service members and their families.

Department of Defense (DoD) Special Care Organizational
Records (SCOR): Very useful organizing tools for
military families with special needs (however, they are
accessible to all families). The SCORS are tools for
caregivers, providing central repositories for recording and
tracking information about their family member’s ongoing
support and health needs.

The DoD Special Needs Parent Toolkit has comprehensive
information and tools that are geared towards helping
military families (however, it is accessible to all
families) with special needs children navigate the maze of
medical and special education services, community support
and benefits and entitlements.
