By phone – Our information and referral line offers assistance for parents who are not English proficient. We have a dedicated line for families who speak Spanish. We have a dedicated line for families who speak Arabic. For families that speak another language, a modern multi-language interpreting service is available.

Trainings – Zoom webinar caption translation is available for all of our online learning opportunities. Reasonable accommodations, including language interpretation assistance, will be granted with two weeks’ notice.

Our website can also be translated into 10 different languages using the drop-down menu.
To provide an inclusive digital experience, the Recite Me Assistive Toolbar has been added to the Michigan Alliance for Families website. This toolbar helps make online information is available to everyone. The tools enable users to read text aloud in a chosen language and customize the appearance of website pages by adjusting the color, font type, and size. Includes options for language translation, a ruler and screen mask enhance reading ease.
